It all comes down to one moment—hitting a wall and having to make a decision, choose a side, or simply turn around and walk away. These are the stories of today’s characters. These are the Songs for a New World: from the deck of a Spanish ship in 1492, to the other side of the globe where a man finds that sports may be his only way out of a life marked by poverty, and a woman whose dream of marrying a wealthy prince has led her into a soulless marriage.
