In the winter of 2036, two elderly men search for a way to say goodbye after a lifetime together. Back in 1971, their younger selves seek the courage to fall in love. Somewhere in between, in the present, they remember and reflect on the lives they've shared. A story of love, memory, and loss between two men, told across the different eras they navigate as a couple.
